Not rushing back, perhaps will get better if I wait another 15 years to return. Dirty and dingy with a false sense of safety given by the fact you hope nobody will do something stupid in front of the crowd. There's a Ferris wheel that didn't exist before and that was fun. Not the Lombardi's I remember but all good. Lombardis Italian Restaurant which I used to frequent is still there though it has clearly changed to stay up with the times and now has a Conga Bar with fun lively music. Not sure if truly allowed or whether the staff just looks away and holds their breath from the nasty skunk as dealing with it may mean keeping a job somehow. Walking through clouds of marihuana smoke is kind of the thing here too. For those who visit or locals using trolley or public transportation, this mall has almost all.

I would hate to use the word "sub-culture" but that's the cleanest I find to describe who frequents this place now. The Falls is a Simon Mall and you can access their free wifi as soon as you are walk-in. I would categorize most of the crowd as undesirable, people that I'm not sure were even truly supporting the businesses as the crowd outside the stores and restaurants was bigger than those in and a crowd that clearly doesn't look at themselves in the mirror before going out in public.

While visiting for the first time in at least 15 years I was happy to "from a distance" see the development was still open but the closer we got, the scarier it got. This was one of my favorite places in the mid 90s for shopping and dining with friends.
